BūthZero, LLC ("BūthZero," "we," or "us") provides an event lead capture and management platform. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

1. Information We Collect

Account information: name, email, company, and role when you register or are invited to a workspace. Company configuration you set up: company name, branding (colors, logo), and the option lists you create (solutions, challenges, objectives, and reps).

Lead information captured at events: contact details, company, job title, badge images, notes, interest level, and the tags your reps apply.

Attendee lists you upload (names, emails, companies, job titles) for attendee auto-lookup and target-prospect matching. Badge QR codes may resolve to third-party vendor URLs, which we store as a reference on the lead record.

CRM connection data: when you connect HubSpot or Salesforce, we store the credentials or authorization tokens needed to sync leads to your CRM on your behalf.

Usage and analytics data: anonymized or pseudonymized event data (such as feature usage and capture counts) to improve the product.

2. How We Use Your Information

To operate and secure the Service, to capture and organize your event leads, to generate AI discussion starters, event summaries, and in-app assistant responses on your behalf, to sync leads to your connected CRM, and to provide support and improve the product.

3. Lead & Badge Data

Lead data, including uploaded badge images, belongs to the company that captured it. We process it only to deliver the Service and do not sell lead data. Badge images are used to extract contact details and are stored associated with the lead record.

4. Sharing & Subprocessors

We share data only as needed to operate the Service — for example, with hosting, payment processing (Stripe), AI providers used to generate discussion starters, summaries, and assistant responses, and, when you connect them, HubSpot and Salesforce to sync leads to your CRM. Each subprocessor is bound to protect data and use it only to provide the Service.

5. Data Retention

We retain company and lead data for as long as your workspace is active and as needed to provide the Service. You can request deletion of your data; certain records may be retained as required by law.

6. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards, including company-scoped access controls, to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure.

7. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal data, or to object to certain processing. Contact us to exercise these rights.

8. International Transfers

Your information may be processed in countries other than your own. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for such transfers.

9. Children's Privacy

BūthZero is a business tool and is not intended for use by individuals under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated version here and update the "Last updated" date.
